Furniture Donations Policy
We are very grateful for donations of items from the list below that are in good or excellent re-saleable condition. They must be clean, free of rips, tears, stains, odours, damage, damp or rust and fully functioning. We aim to offer great quality re-usable items at low cost to provide a social and environmental benefit to our community.

- Coffee Tables, Side Tables
- Dining Tables and Chairs
- Beds and Mattresses
- Bedroom Furniture (Wardrobes, Drawers, Bedside Tables/Cabinets)
- Home Office: Desks and Chairs
- Fridges/Freezers, Tumble Dryers, Vacuum Cleaners
- Floor Lamps
- Wall Mirrors
- Cots, Highchairs
- Garden Furniture
Items we definitely can’t take: sofas, armchairs, mattresses etc without safety labels indicating compliance with fire regulations. Any item that is dirty, ripped/torn, broken, stained, smelly, very worn, damp, rusting or damaged. Washing machines, dishwashers or microwaves.
We can arrange to collect large furniture items but please be aware we need at least a couple of week’s notice as this service is in high demand. If you can deliver items directly to us we’ll be very grateful! Please let us know in advance if you have an item or items to donate by calling in store or on 07598 187846 so we can ensure we have space to accommodate.
Please respect our policy… it costs us money to dispose of items we are unable to re-sell.
